Southeastern Womens Expo

Wednesday morning and LittleRebelz.com is finally coming down from cloud nine. Little Rebelz recently took part in the Southeastern Women's Expo in Jacksonville Fl on April 11-12, 2015. This event was such a successful learning experience  for a small and up and coming business like us. We learned in a short time frame, what it TAKES to be part of a large event and be successful.

Little Rebelz arrived at the Prime Osbourne Convention Center Friday evening to begin the set up process. Our display included tables, hanging racks, poster boards and smaller items decorate our booth. We walked inside the venue with our nerves hiding in our socks, browsed around and quickly realized that 80% of these vendors were displaying their products.... on this night... and our inventory was not in tow!  Leaving our products unattended was our BIGGEST fear sooo, we just KNEW we had the right idea to leave them home. Right? WRONG!  The Little Rebelz clan quickly brainstormed and scrambled to correct this mistake.  Our volunteers scrimmaged to get our inventory to the convention center and get as much done as humanly possible before closing.

Now, it was a race against the clock. The time was now 7:15pm when the staff arrived back, and the convention center closed promptly at 8pm.  We had exactly 45 min to unpack 7 boxes.  Plain as day, we all knew this would not be finished tonight.  With hands and hangers flying everywhere, we did our best and when 8pm rolled around we were 50% complete.  "Ladies and gentlemen, the time is now 8pm and security will be escorting everyone out. Please make your way to the exits" is the announcement heard over the loudspeaker. With a look of defeat, we all exited the convention center. Back at our home office, our production line began steaming, tagging and marking the products that wrinkled during the shipment to Jacksonville. It was now 2am and we were FINALLY finished. We said goodnight and off to bed we went.

6:30 am rolled around like a Nascar. A quick shower, changed into our Little Rebelz T-shirts for the day and off we went. We arrived back at the convention center with a cause! There was no time to play. We unpacked the remaining boxes and got everything on tables and racks as fast as we could. It was now 10am and our Little Rebelz booth was running at 100% as doors opened the to customers.  With help and determination we got it done and was proud of what we were looking at before us. Balloons were up inventory was all out and as we were shoving a few boxes under the tables. It was time to greet and meet our potential customers. Jacksonville welcomed us with open arms and we met some of the  cutest Little Rebelz.

For our very first event we learned so much. Up next for us is the Atlanta Women's Ultimate Expo, in Atlanta, Ga  May 2-3 2015. We are so excited to do it all over again and can't wait to meet more potential Little Rebelz! If you are in the area stop by say hello and check out all that we have to offer. Hope to see you there!
